About AAEC

Asia Aviation Enthusiast Club (AAEC) was founded by a group of pilots and aviation professionals who share a deep passion for flight and possess years of frontline experience in the aviation industry. They have soared through the skies at thousands of feet and stood guard on the tarmac; they know the majesty of the blue sky, and they understand the profound love for flight that comes from within.

So why was AAEC established?

For too long, the vast majority of aviation enthusiasts have been overlooked. Outsiders may see their obsession with aircraft and their enthusiasm for aviation photography, but few truly understand the deep-rooted passion for aviation that resides in their hearts. It is precisely because of humanity's curiosity and yearning for the sky that we have repeatedly pushed beyond our limits and ultimately conquered this vast blue expanse. This original aspiration deserves to be cherished and seen by the world.

We want to tell the world: Aviation is so much more than just flying!

Pilots are the eyes of the "great bird," guiding its path and reading the winds and clouds. Cabin crew is its lifeblood, connecting every journey with warmth and service. Maintenance personnel are the guardians on the front lines, protecting the safety of every aircraft with dedication and expertise. And aviation enthusiasts, the fans of flight, are the ones who bring the spirit of aviation into everyday life. They are the most loyal and steadfast supporters of this "great bird." We come together because of our passion, and we walk this path together because of it.

AAEC's Mission

AAEC is dedicated to creating an open, professional, and welcoming home for every member. We will provide our members with:

• Exciting aviation discovery tours, taking you into airports, control towers, and maintenance hangars for an up-close look at the pulse of aviation

• Professional online and offline courses covering a wide range of topics, including aviation theory, flight principles, and career development

• Guidance and support for obtaining various types of pilot licenses, from private to commercial, helping dreams take flight

• Aviation study camps, planting the seeds of flight in young minds and igniting future possibilities

• Networking events for aviation enthusiasts, connecting like-minded individuals, and expanding your circle within the aviation community

We believe that only by truly stepping into the world of aviation and understanding it can we better love it and achieve great things within it. AAEC Club President's Welcome Message

Dear fellow aviation enthusiasts,

I am Ng Wee Loon, Club President of the Asia Aviation Enthusiast Club. Trained as a commercial pilot, my passion for aviation first took flight during my time in the Air Force. Once I experienced the skies, there was no turning back; I never wanted to see the world from any other angle.

I earned my pilot license in Canada, and I am excited to share that some of you will have the opportunity to do the same.

I warmly invite you to join our growing family of aviation lovers, where we look up together every time a great plane soars by. Exciting activities and valuable resources are on the horizon, and I look forward to welcoming you in person soon.
