Registration requirements

  • Aged 17 and above
  • No criminal record within five years
  • Possess junior high school education or above, no major limit
  • Hold a current valid motor vehicle driving license with a C license or above (medical examination is exempted) or a current valid civil aviation Class II physical examination
  • Chinese only (Mainland China)

 

  • Instructor evaluation or a physical examination of civil aviation is required. The Civil Aviation Administration of China will issue a license;
  • Ground theoretical study (30 hours): aviation regulations, general knowledge of the aircraft, flight performance, planning and loading, human performance, meteorology, pilotage, operating procedures, flight principles, radio conversations, aircraft type learning, cockpit Equipment usage learning, take-off and landing routes and airspace flight ground drills;
  • Practical flight learning (30 hours): includes prescribed regular flight training. In the flight skills training session, professional flight instructors fly real aircraft for one-on-one training flights, including take-off, landing, straight flight, maneuvering flight, cross-country flight, and other flight subjects;
  • Instructor evaluation: Whether the pilot meets the sports pilot standards and is qualified to be issued a Sports Pilot License (SPL)
